Chimera A4, Monday Evening

After a quick trip to Jeff, God of Biscuits, Z sat cross-legged on her bunk with a cupcake with two candles stuck in it, singing softly to herself.

"Happy birthday to me,
Happy birthday to me,
Happy birthday, dear me,
Happy birthday to me."

Then she made a wish, blew out the candles, and ate the cupcake.

Tori's reason was pretty good since she was passing by on her way back from her handwavey walk on the beach. And her ranger senses were tingling she realized this happened to be the cabin Z lived in, so she decided to stop in.

Tori popped her head in. "Anybody home?"

Z peered out of her alcove and said, "Me! Hi, Tori. What's up?"

"Hey Z!" Tori smiled and waved. She then shrugged. "I was up and about, thought I might come say hi." She made her way over to her friend. "And happy birthday, apparently." Tori grinned. "I didn't know it was today." She made a mental note to get Z a present.

"Yeah," Z said with a shrug. "It's no big deal. I'm just turning two. Again."

"Still, a very happy birthday to you Z." Tori grinned brightly and moved to give her a birthday hug.

"Aw, thanks," Z said, returning Tori's hug. "I appreciate it."

"You're very welcome." Tori smiled brightly. "I say we do something special for your birthday. Anything you'd like to do or see. My treat."

"Oh," Z said, "I already had a cupcake--and Evie brought cookies!" This was apparently quite the celebration by Z's standards.

Tori grinned. "No birthday cake?" She joked. It sounded like it had been fun.

Tori chuckled and nodded. "Right, sorry. Cupcakes are good, too." She grinned her mun having gotten one for her 21st bday down in Disney. "You sure there's nothing you want for your birthday?"
