In room 317, Z was packing up her stuff and wishing Cruger had been more specific. Did she need to bring all her stuff? Just a few uniforms? How long were they going to be gone, anyway?

Artoo squealed in delight and went rocketing around the room with the penguin on his dome.

The penguin didn't seem nearly as excited by the ride.

"Us?" Luke repeated. "Who else is going?"

Z hoped the penguin didn't hork. "Bridge. He is my teammate, you know."

Weetiny penguin vomit would not be adorable, no.

"Wish him luck for me, then," Luke said with a polite smile.

He was trying, dammit.

Maybe weetiny penguins vomited rainbows! "Thanks. We may need it. I'm supposed to meet the rest of my teammates." Z made a face.

Artoo made a disgusted little gurgle.

Luke burst out laughing. "That'll teach you to go so fast," he said.

"How many more teammates will you have?" he asked as he reached for a rag to clean Artoo off with.

Z winced. "Sorry, Artoo. Three," she told Luke. "This Sky guy, Sydney Drew whose music I'm sure I've subjected you to a time or three, and someone else we're supposed to meet there. Commander Cruger wasn't long on details."

"They never are big with the details," Luke said, sounding slightly bitter. "But people named Sky can be okay."

Of course, this was coming from a Skywalker, so he was a bit biased.

Z grinned at him. "Yeah, I'm sure you're right. It'll be great. Anyway, uh...don't wait up, and look for me when you see me coming, I guess."
