Dr. Manx had been working on an experimental new wormhole travel method, and the three of them had agreed to be volunteers for the first human trial, since, well, sending people who actually had a reason they needed to go through a wormhole made more sense than finding more volunteers.

Travelling through the wormhole was pretty uneventful, and not strange... not until the three didn't emerge properly from the other side. Their feet did not hit the ground, nor did their luggage, even though they could still clearly see and hear their surroundings. It was then that they spotted each other...as they were now.
